Job description
We are seeking two experienced Test Engineers (SFIA Level 4) to join a high-profile programme delivering data-driven solutions within a cloud-based environment. This is a 6-month contract offering \u00a3315 per day, with flexible working and occasional travel to Newcastle as required., * Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test strategies across complex data platforms.
- Analyse automated test results, identifying risks and raising issues proactively to stakeholders.
- Implement and enhance test frameworks to improve coverage, reliability, and confidence in delivery.
- Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and data engineers to ensure quality is Embedded throughout the life cycle.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software testing at SFIA Level 4 (or equivalent).
- Active SC clearance (essential).
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
- Experience with Scripting languages such as Bash.
- Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks and automation tools.
