Job description

We are seeking two experienced Test Engineers (SFIA Level 4) to join a high-profile programme delivering data-driven solutions within a cloud-based environment. This is a 6-month contract offering \u00a3315 per day, with flexible working and occasional travel to Newcastle as required., * Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test strategies across complex data platforms.

  • Analyse automated test results, identifying risks and raising issues proactively to stakeholders.
  • Implement and enhance test frameworks to improve coverage, reliability, and confidence in delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and data engineers to ensure quality is Embedded throughout the life cycle.
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in software testing at SFIA Level 4 (or equivalent).
  • Active SC clearance (essential).
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
  • Experience with Scripting languages such as Bash.
  • Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks and automation tools.
