Job description
- Configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
- Ability to automate processes such as device hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, system monitoring of
- Windows and Linux servers.
- Ability to climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices.
- Apply fixes, patches and upgrades in a timely fashion.
- Troubleshoot server issues.
- Administer customer accounts.
- Deploy monitoring tools.
- Deploy applications and tools.
- Assist with escalated customer tickets.
Requirements
- Security+ Cert
- 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 5 additional years of experience as a System Administrator may be substituted for a degree, * Mid-level Windows and Linux server system administration experience and knowledge. Minimum of 1 year experience with each of these two operating systems.
- VMware architecture administration experience.
- Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
- Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
Desired Experience:
- Hardware installation and cabling experience.
- Monitoring tools.
- Network experience (architecture, switch administration, troubleshooting).
- AWS/VMs.
Benefits & conditions
Salary: $180,000 - $190,000 annually
