Job description
- Design, implement, and maintain Foundry pipelines ingesting data from internal and external systems
- Format, cleanse, and enrich data for downstream analytics and applications
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot platform connections, and optimize asset performance
- Build and maintain datasets, objects, and ontologies to support analytics and operations
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to refine workflows, templates, and integrations
- Implement access controls, metadata management, and governance best practices
- Identify automation and performance improvement opportunities within Foundry
- Stay current on new Foundry features and development best practices
Requirements
- At least 1 year of direct Palantir Foundry experience (pipeline building, object maintenance, app development)
- 6+ years overall development experience (e.g., PySpark, Databricks, low-code, data engineering)
- Strong understanding of low-code modules and Foundry's application development layer
- Ability to coach/lead technical teams in a collaborative client-facing environment
- Federal/DoD experience preferred, * Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or related field
- Active Secret Clearance
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP and integrating cloud/on-prem data sources
- Solid knowledge of data modeling, metadata, ontologies, and governance best practices, * Experience working in federal or regulated environments
- Prior hands-on Foundry work (creating pipelines, establishing objects, monitoring asset health)
- Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks
- Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
