Applications Engineer

We are seeking an Applications Engineer as we continue to grow our engineering team. This position will involve working in the following areas:

• Sales & Customer Technical Support
• New Product Development
• Testing New and Existing Technologies
• Technical Support for Production

Schedule:

Full Time | Monday - Friday 7 am to 4 pm

Hours may begin or extend beyond typical times.

Responsibilities

• Designs for new products
• Design and perform testing for new products to verify performance requirements.
• Review electrical schematics and device selections to verify design specifications are met.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering team members to develop innovative solutions
• Work with our vendors and contractors when technical support is required
• Track and document design process and project development

• Established mathematical ability in calculus, trigonometry, and statistics, * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
• 2-5 years of experience working in engineering and/or manufacturing
• Firm understanding of engineering concepts
• Experience designing mechanical systems and products
• Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience in the HVAC industry
