Job description

Synertex is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support mission-critical IC programs delivering advanced data visualization, data processing, and cross-domain solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will design, build, and deploy software systems that process and operationalize intelligence data in classified environments.

You will work directly with analysts and mission stakeholders to develop scalable applications, build data pipelines, and deliver full-stack solutions that make intelligence data accessible and actionable in real-world mission scenarios., * Design and build web-based applications for data visualization and intelligence analysis using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks

  • Develop backend microservices and APIs using Python, Golang, and/or Java to support data ingest, processing, and delivery
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that aggregate, transform, and normalize data from multiple intelligence sources
  • Utilize the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for search, analytics, and visualization
  • Design and implement asynchronous processing systems using messaging frameworks such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
  • Support development of cross-domain solutions for secure data transfer across classification levels
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Workflows, Docker, and related tooling
  • Develop and deploy containerized applications in constrained, classified environments
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years supporting classified IC programs
  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with hands-on, daily development experience
  • Experience building modern frontend applications using React and component-based UI frameworks
  • Backend development experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django), Golang, or Java
  • Experience with data ingest and processing pipelines across multiple data sources
  • Hands-on experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitHub Workflows, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization using Docker in restricted or air-gapped environments
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and at least one NoSQL database
  • Experience operating in Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Ability to work across the full stack and deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required, * Experience with cross-domain systems and secure data transfer technologies
  • Familiarity with AWS GovCloud or C2S environments
  • Experience with Kafka or other event-driven architectures
  • Exposure to machine learning or computer vision frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, etc.)
  • Experience with Ansible, RPM packaging, or deployment automation tools
  • Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive compensation aligned to experience
  • 401(k) with 6% company match
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid Time Off and 11 paid federal holidays
  • Employee profit sharing program
  • Opportunity to work on mission-critical systems supporting national security
  • Collaborative, AI-first engineering culture focused on innovation and delivery
