Job description
The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence. This role focuses on analyzing service line performance, identifying trends and opportunities, and developing meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic and operational decision-making. Responsibilities
- Partner with operational leaders to understand workflows, business objectives, and challenges
- Analyze operational data across multiple service lines to evaluate performance, efficiency, and utilization
- Identify trends, limitations, and opportunities for improvement within service delivery models as well as the broader organization
- Design, develop, and maintain KPIs that align with organizational goals and service line strategies
- Establish standardized performance metrics and reporting frameworks
- Monitor KPI performance and provide actionable recommendations based on findings
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting processes
- Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools)
- Design clear, intuitive visualizations to enable translation of complex data for stakeholders at all levels
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role
- Experience analyzing service line operations (healthcare or similar operational environments preferred)
- Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
- Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
- Experience with forecasting, capacity planning, or operational modeling is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Clearances Required: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, and Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
