Job description

  • Serve as a Systems Engineer and technical authority, guiding engineering decisions and system-level solutions.
  • Maintain and evolve system architecture, technical baselines, and overall system performance.
  • Coordinate with systems, network, and cybersecurity engineers to design and integrate capabilities that meet mission objectives.
  • Support requirements analysis, hardware/software design activities, and full verification and validation processes.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of emerging ISR technologies, support prototype development and testing, and assist with integration across multiple intelligence platforms.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engineering reports supporting the TENCAP mission.
  • Provide expert technical recommendations and conduct trade-off analyses to ensure engineering solutions are feasible, mission-aligned, and ready for government consideration.

Requirements

This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in complex mission environments, enjoys solving hard technical problems, and wants to directly influence Army ISR modernization., * Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2-6 years.
  • Experience with ISR systems, satellite communications, or intelligence architectures (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting ISR systems in operational or development environments.
  • Proven ability to operate as a systems engineer in complex, mission-critical environments, creating sound, feasible, and mission-aligned solutions.
