Job description
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the deliverability of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and implement automation solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable test automation scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand features and requirements for effective test coverage.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify bugs and issues.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Maintain and update existing test frameworks and test cases.
- Document test cases, results, and bugs clearly and concisely.
- Identify opportunities for test automation enhancement and process improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and Playwright.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, or others.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
- Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
