As a Software Engineer Principal (JAVA/Spring Boot) within PNC's Retail Tech Core Debit Product organization, you will be based in Dallas TX, Pittsburgh PA or Strongsville OH.

The Software Engineer Principal (JAVA/Spring Boot) will provide technical leadership and architectural direction across critical software initiatives. In this role, you will design scalable systems, mentor engineering teams, and drive best practices that align technology solutions with business strategy. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong influence without authority, and a proven ability to solve complex, cross domain problems., * Aligns business strategy with software solutions.

• Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs. Oversees technical and procedural documentation required.
• Leads complex problem solving.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
• Displays an innovative approach to apply modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
