Job description
Insight Global is seeking a secret cleared Systems Integration Engineer to join a fully onsite team in San Diego, CA. his role provides advanced technical, cyber, and engineering support for the development, integration, testing, maintenance, and sustainment of METOC and shipboard systems. This position requires hands on shipboard installation experience and expertise writing scripts. This person will be required to travel domestically and internationally about once per quarter.
Requirements
Active Secret Clearance
- Security+ CE
- 5+ years of software or systems engineering, including advanced technical or engineering support, with a Bachelors Degree in engineering, mathematics or a related field
- Additional years of experience would be considered in lieu of a degree
- Shipboard systems and installation experience
- Experience providing support across the full system lifecycle: integration, testing, maintenance, sustainment
- Strong background in system scripting, software patching and cyber remediation
- Experience doing vulnerability scanning using ACAS, and ensuring STIG compliance
- Experience with networking, troubleshooting, scanning, and patching in operational environments
