Job description
- Design, code, test, deploy & support working software/technology component, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers.
- Responsible for delivering clean, secure, performant code /technology components that meets all the non-functional requirements.
- Leads discussions on design approaches to solving visible, strategic and complex business problems.
- Leads & participates in Development process definitions, best practices and standards.
- Identifies emerging technologies for consideration for new technology direction and implements proof of concepts to prove the new technology.
- Create Threat Model, Architecture, Estimates, Design, Code, COTS configuration for the required business feature.
- Acts in Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues.
- Mentors other engineers on the team
- Knowledge of and Experience in DevSecOps best practices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Version control?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Develop new features and services that are medium-high level of complexity working with the product/platform/infrastructure/security team, + Strong Mainframe Development Experience with Mainframe COBOL, JCL/Proc, CICS, VSAM, DB2, IMS, Stored Procedures
- Experience of testing/debugging tools including Abend-aid and Expediter
- Experience of database viewing tools including Datavantage and Fileaid/FileaidDB2
- Knowledge of Jira/ Agile
- Knowledge of Changeman as a source control
- 10+ years Engineering experience in relevant technical domainBachelor's Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
