Job description

  • Investigate and develop new features related to microdisplay operation and image quality.
  • Design, simulation, prototyping and characterization.
  • Develop engineering requirements specifications, work with vendors and partner teams during all stages of new display development, validate functionality and performance at module and system levels.
  • Investigate microdisplay road map opportunities related to new technologies and new supply chain capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in a display-related technical development environment.
  • Experience with product development for consumer electronics., * Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
  • Experience in areas related to microdisplays development (micro-LED, micro-OLED, LCoS), optical design, CMOS backplane, display driver IC, display pipeline and image quality.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., Cadence Spectre, Synopsys HSPICE) and digital design flows (e.g., Verilog, VHDL).
  • Understanding of power management and low-power design techniques for integrated circuits. Familiarity with embedded memory architectures and their application in display back planes.
  • Understanding of AR display systems, microdisplay technologies, image quality metrics and display integration.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
