Job description

Ameresco has an immediate opening for a skilled and experienced DDC Controls Systems Integrator to join our team. As a DDC Controls Systems Integrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Direct Digital Control systems for various building automation projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure successful integration and operation of DDC control systems., * Design and develop DDC control system solutions based on project requirements and specifications.

  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and understand client needs, project goals, and system requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather relevant data for system integration and implementation.
  • Develop and customize software programs and applications to enable seamless integration of DDC control systems.
  • Configure and program DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, and other peripheral devices.
  • Conduct system testing and debugging to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with electricians, technicians, and other professionals to install, commission, and validate DDC control systems.
  • Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of DDC control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration, communication, and functionality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to DDC controls and building automation systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a DDC Controls Systems Integrator or a similar role within the building automation industry.
  • Strong HVAC systems knowledge and knowledge of DDC control systems, protocols (such as BACnet, Modbus), and building automation technologies.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in DDC control systems
  • Familiarity with IT networks and software tools used for DDC controls programming and system integration.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and control system drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to DDC control systems, IT networks and infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Benefits & conditions

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $70,000 -$100,000 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.

Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements.
