Job description

This is a senior, hands?on position with responsibility for designing, supporting, and evolving a Microsoft?centric hybrid environment. The role covers Windows Server (2019-2025), Active Directory, Azure, M365, Hyper?V, storage, security controls, disaster recovery, and enterprise monitoring. You'll act as the most senior technical resource on a team of five and serve as an escalation point and mentor to other engineers.

Requirements

The environment includes on?prem and Azure infrastructure, Hyper?V clusters, storage (SAN/NAS), backup and DR solutions, and a strong focus on security, reliability, and documentation. PowerShell scripting and automation experience is expected, along with the ability to lead incident response and infrastructure improvements.

This role requires a bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years of experience in Microsoft?based enterprise environments. Must?have experience includes Active Directory (including Sites and Services), DNS, Hyper?V, Windows Server, and storage administration. Experience in legal or financial services environments is a plus, as is strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

This is not a stepping?stone role. The successful candidate will be a senior, self?sufficient engineer with the potential to step into broader leadership responsibilities over time.
