Staff Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior to Staff level Software Engineer to help lead development on our core platform. You'll be shipping production code on day one, owning features end-to-end, and working closely with the team to build the infrastructure that powers the future of home lending.

What You'll Work On

• Build and launch complex, multi-step AI agents that automate mortgage operations workflows
• Integrate with third-party lending APIs for document generation, automated underwriting, and fraud prevention
• Architect and scale our job processing infrastructure on AWS
• Develop full-stack features from design through deployment
• Contribute to a highly reliable, observable, low-maintenance infrastructure

Tech Stack: TypeScript · React · Node/Express · GraphQL/Apollo · PostgreSQL · AWS (ECS, RDS, ElasticCache, Kafka, ElasticSearch) · Terraform · Docker

Must-haves:

• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills with examples of complex systems built hands-on
• Proven track record of shipping real products end-to-end
• Experience building full-stack web features in a fast-moving environment
• AWS infrastructure experience
• Ability to design and scale complex relational DB schemas
• SRE mindset - you care about reliability, observability, and low operational overhead, * Familiarity with AI product development (evals, experiment design, dataset curation)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems
• Active GitHub profile
