Job description

We're seeking a System Integrator with preferred experience in Gas Cabinet Monitoring Systems (GCMS) programming to support semiconductor and advanced manufacturing facilities in Santa Clara, CA. If you thrive at the intersection of controls engineering and construction support this role offers the opportunity to shape complex, high-impact facility systems.

What you'll do:

  • Support and maintain networked industrial systems through strong networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting
  • Configure and maintain network devices and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Work within PLC and operational technology (OT) environments
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for electrical contractors
  • Support virtualization technologies and apply basic cybersecurity practices
  • Perform commissioning and verification activities
  • Coordinate with internal and external global teams to establish subnet, VLAN and firewall configurations
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters and flowmeters

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent vocational degree.
  • Knowledge of design and construction specifications.
  • Experience working in construction environments including field verifications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Able to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Basic knowledge of Cimplicity SCADA programming.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, verification and commissioning services.
  • Proficient with standard diagnostic tools such as multimeters and flowmeters.
  • Basic knowledge with AutoCAD computer drafting software.
  • Design experience in semiconductor or datacenters.
  • Understanding of diagrams and schematics as related to controls systems, networking, electrical and mechanical.
  • Ability for forward thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and to contribute with innovative ideas.
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams., * Candidate must commute to the site Monday-Friday during core hours (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.), with some flexibility based on client and employee needs
  • Requires field mobility including walking long distances, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening and be fully authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).
