Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, or other related degree program from an accredited college/university
  • Experience with SW Systems engineering
  • Experience with directed energy or other laser systems
  • Experience with various review events (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc)
  • Experience managing and verifying requirements
  • Experience with HW/SW integration, testing, operations support

Must have a Final Secret Clearance to start., Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Mid-Level Software Engineer Sr. to join our Common Software Framework (CSF) team with software systems engineering experience. CSF supports various Directed Energy programs as well as programs requiring laser system control. In this role you will lead software systems documentation, review charts, and system engineering data products. In addition, the role includes developing embedded software, and work closely with systems engineers, and hardware teams to ensure that embedded flight software meets stringent aerospace standards for performance, safety, and reliability. A successful candidate would have previous experience in these areas.
