Job description

As an Advanced Data Analyst here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies Commercial Excellence Team, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to support business growth and operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing analytics projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering actionable insights to drive business outcomes in the aerospace industry.

In this role, you will impact the aerospace industry by utilizing statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement and optimization. You will work closely with business leaders to understand their analytical needs and provide strategic recommendations based on data insights. Additionally, you will manage relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and capabilities in analytics.

You will report directly to our Director, Analytics & Insights and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC site on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F., * Lead and manage analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Utilize statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise in analytics
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the analytics process
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in analytics and data science
  • Travel: up to 10%, * Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop and implement data models and algorithms to support business decisionmaking
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and develop datadriven solutions
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through data cleansing and validation processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in SAP
