- Engineer and maintain the M365 Applications and related Office products, ensuring long-term sustainability.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate application packaging, deployment, and patching processes.
- Utilize Microsoft Intune for modern device management, application deployment, and policy enforcement.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for application packaging and deployment strategies.
- Design and implement solutions for both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop a sustainable patching and update methodology.
- Lead the development of a ring-based release strategy for Office Professional Plus.
- Ensure all engineering solutions comply with security and compliance standards.
- Develop strategies to support macros, add-ins, and legacy integrations.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices.
- Work closely with service and product managers to define and document service requirements.
Requirements
TEKsystems is currently seeking a Desktop Engineer with 7+ years of experience in enterprise desktop engineering, with a strong emphasis on PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Admin Studio, and Wise Package Studio. This role will be responsible for the design, packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of the Office 365 Professional Plus client and related applications. No C2C. W2 ONLY. MUST SIT ONSITE IN PLANO, TX - 3 DAYS A WEEK. Top Skills:
- Proven experience with PowerShell and Intune in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, hardware platforms, and Active Directory.
- Experience with Office 365 deployment and management.
- Ability to lead initiatives and drive technical direction in desktop engineering.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $72.00/hr.
