Job description
We are targeting an Infrastructure Engineer that will play a pivotal role within the facilities' technical operations. This role will be heavily involved with end-user support and be involved with crucial projects., * Provide support to end users through their requests for services by troubleshooting site hardware, software and other network and infrastructure items
- System administration for all server room tasks including updates/maintenance/patching to data center equipment and software, ensure proper backup/recovery processes, ensure a secure network (both dc and end user security)
- Ensure overall consistency of network
- Administer Office 365 for shared calendar, shared mailbox, distribution list management, and licensing
- Responsible for all user account related tasks consisting of AD/Email, video conferencing, and cell phones
- Provide internal datacenter support which consists of managing different active directory domains
- Provide temporary first line support for all network related needs for corporate location up to and including both datacenter and VPN provisioning related duties as well as guest wireless access
- Perform all security and non-critical related Windows patches
- Manage all mobile communication related functions that include cell phone upgrades, insurance claims, hot spot deployment, and plan feature add/moves/changes
- Coordinate desktop deployment and hoteling functions for both employees and contractors (onsite and remote)
- Perform Vendor Management related duties which include, asset tracking, software licensing and administration where appropriate, purchase (via leasing agreement) and acquisition of all software and hardware assets
- Provide second/third level support to our service desk for corporate employees
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant IT field related experience
- Cisco (CCNA) or higher certification is a plus
- Prior experience with Fortigate firewalls and/or Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certification is a strong plus
- Demonstrated knowledge of information system hardware and software including troubleshooting skills and problem resolution
