Job description

Design and implement scalable, high-performance enterprise applications to support client business needs Work independently with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of tasks from initiation through resolution Collaborate with peer developers to convert requirements and functional designs into robust technical solutions Ensure automated test plans and scripts meet quality and customer requirements Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and ensure timely delivery Proactively identify issues, propose solutions, escalate when necessary, and follow through professionally Support production environments and be available to work outside regular business hours when required

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-scale systems that handle high volumes of data. The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on technologist with deep back-end expertise and the ability to lead by ownership and execution., Minimum 12 years of overall IT experience Strong proficiency in Java 17, with extensive experience in Spring Boot-based microservices Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and event-driven architectures 5+ years of SQL development experience Strong back-end focus (Java, services, databases) Experience with React, Cloud technologies, and Test Automation Ability to work independently and manage complex technical deliverables

Preferred Qualifications Experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes Prior experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments

Top 3 Skills Required Back-end Java Expertise - Java, microservices, services, and database-focused development Kafka, Cloud & Test Automation - Hands-on experience across these areas OpenShift / Kubernetes - Container orchestration experience preferred
