Senior Software Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

This isn't a seat-warmer role. You'll lead projects from whiteboard to production, make meaningful architectural decisions, and collaborate directly with product and design to build features that clients rely on every day. You'll also help elevate the people around you by mentoring junior engineers and driving improvements across the broader engineering org.

• Lead full-stack feature development from technical design through deployment
• Architect scalable, high-performance solutions with a focus on data integrity and user experience
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and own database schema decisions
• Partner with product and design to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions
• Identify new tools, frameworks, and best practices to keep the team ahead of the curve
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js
• Solid command of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL
• Proficiency with React and React Query (or comparable frontend frameworks)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:

• Experience with JavaScript libraries like AG Grid, SpreadJS, or HyperFormula
• Background building computation-heavy or data-intensive services where accuracy and performance are non-negotiable
• Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies
