Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsibilities include developing and maintaining both new and existing Angular and Java based applications. Whether troubleshooting a software defect, enhancing an existing application, or developing a new solution, you should be able to delve into frameworks and libraries to deliver coherent solutions aligned with the overall architecture of the application landscape. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site agile team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Effective communication skills are essential. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Academic background in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content 3+ years of relevant development experience, with a focus on Angular development Experience with a mixture of AngularJS 1.X, Angular 2.0+, TypeScript, Spring, SpringBoot, Java Oracle SQL/PostgreSQL competency Experience with GIT source control Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to learn and understand the nature of business Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: Skills in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap Familiarity with SOAP/REST Knowledge of Momentum Financials/Acquisitions Skills in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap Experience working under Agile methodology Familiarity with JIRA ERP software experience Effective communication with non-technical staff and members of interdisciplinary teams CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
