AI Python Engineer (Full Stack)

We're hiring a Strong Python Engineer to help build and scale modern, AI-powered applications used across a large, enterprise-grade environment. This role mentor and thought leader. sits at the intersection of full-stack development, cloud-native architecture, and applied Generative AI, offering the chance to work on high-impact systems from design through production. You'll collaborate closely with product, data, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications-while also serving as a technical mentor and thought leader. Day to Day expectations

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade Python services, APIs, and microservices
• Develop and scale AI-driven applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multi-agent systems
• Build and maintain document ingestion pipelines and multimodal AI workflows
• Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Tools
• Apply API-first design, modern security standards, and performance best practices
• Ensure high-quality code through test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Stay current with emerging AI, cloud, and software development trends

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience, with deep expertise in Python
• Strong experience building web applications, APIs, and microservices
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions
• (e.g., RAG architectures, LLM-powered apps)
• Experience with:

• Python frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
• Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes a plus)
• Version control and CI/CD (Git, GitLab CI/CD)

Nice to Haves:

• Experience architecting multi-agent AI systems using modern reasoning models
• Exposure to LLM Ops, evaluation pipelines, and AI monitoring
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, Azure CLI, CDK)
• Hands-on work with Azure ML, Azure AI Studio, or similar platforms
• Industry experience in financial services or asset management
• Experience building real-time, distributed systems at enterprise scale

This is a Contract position based out of Newport Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
