Job description
- Directly build, test & maintain reporting and dashboard offerings for our customers (using Sigma and Snowflake plus AI automation to increase velocity)
- You'll help define what AI-assisted and AI-native data products look like for our customers: think predictive operational insights or AI-generated narrative summaries layered on top of reporting. You'll be part of shaping what's next - not just maintaining what's already been built.
- Create reports that are accurate, effective, and also aesthetically pleasing
- Work closely with customers to analyze data and ask questions about the product's performance and the business itself
- Work closely with Product Management and UI/UX to style and evolve the presentation of data reports and dashboards
- Actively identify up-sell opportunities with customers when premium or custom reports are applicable, or when Data Sharing via Snowflake, or API access is a value-add
- Coordinate and communicate effectively across engineering, customer support and product teams
- This role will also be part of future growth on this team, which may include being involved in the recruiting and interviewing process to keep and set the bar high for talent

ServiceCore is seeking an energetic, inquisitive, and experienced Data Analyst! This is a great opportunity to work with an amazing hybrid office/WFH team that's based in Denver, CO.
This is a role for an experienced contributor (~3-7 years) who will build amazing Reporting and Business Intelligence solutions and AI-powered data products for our customers. The role is at the intersection of customer support, product management, and data analysis for our external products. As a customer-facing position, your interactions will be with people in the organization as well as end users and customers that will require a high level of consultation, discovering user needs, and blending them into the existing product, creating customizations, and up-selling customers to offerings that will solve their needs. This role is focused on understanding our customers' business needs, how their business runs, and how to creatively build effective and amazing-looking reporting visualizations. - You have previously been on a team of data analysts or BI analysts
- Evidence of being able to effectively consult with different groups in an organization as well as customers directly on their most challenging data and reporting needs
- Past experience working directly with or consulting with end users and customers
- Mastery of at least one BI toolset, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Sisense, Looker, et al (We use Sigma here at ServiceCore but we don't require prior experience directly with Sigma)
- Eagerness to discover and use automation and AI tooling to speed up delivery; experience using AI outputs as a first draft requiring review and revision (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Jetbrains DataGrip)
- Experience with and/or exposure to a variety of data storage (relational, NoSQL, data warehouse solutions) and database engines, including but not limited to SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, or Postgres
- Experience with Snowflake is desired but experience with at least one or more cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery, or others, is required
- Working knowledge of common data warehouse modeling schemes, such as the snowflake schema, star schema, galaxy schema, or star cluster schema
- Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and a curious, open mind (You see what needs to be done, not wait to be told what needs to be done)
- An ideal mix is someone who understands what drives business, how to creatively visualize data, and solve operational business challenges through data visualization and analysis
- Outstanding written and verbal communication is required to be successful in this role
- Bonus points for familiarity with accounting and financial reporting
