Job description

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and optimise cloud-native platform solutions in AWS. You will play a key role in automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to improve software delivery across the organisation., * Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable and secure AWS platform solutions

Monitor, manage and optimise cloud infrastructure and system performance
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient deployments
Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and operations
Contribute engineering insights to strategy and architecture initiatives
Document infrastructure procedures, standards and best practices
Drive automation to improve development and delivery processes

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Platform Engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals
Strong AWS cloud experience and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation)
Strong Scripting and automation experience

Technical Skills

Jenkins pipelines (multibranch), GitHub Actions, Groovy Scripting
Python Scripting and troubleshooting
Chef configuration management experience
Hands-on CloudFormation Scripting, debugging and troubleshooting
Linux administration and troubleshooting web services
Experience with AWS services including EC2, NLB, API Gateway, Auto Scaling Groups
