Collins Aerospace, an RTX company has an immediate need for an Principal Infrastructure Lead Engineer - Classified System to lead and guide a small team of infrastructure engineers in the Dulles, VA area. The lead is responsible for guiding minor architectural modifications for upcoming infrastructure projects, deployment of new infrastructure projects, and maintenance of existing projects. The lead needs a wide background to include modern IT infrastructure systems (compute, network, storage). The lead is also responsible for functioning as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Field Support team stationed at the customer site.
Requirements
This position is located onsite in Dulles, VA and requires an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility. Active and current TS/SCI is highly desired.
Ability to travel to support customer field sites is required. Expectation is CONUS/OCONUS 20%
Qualifications You Must Have:

Experience in designing and deploying IT systems.

Knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, including vendors and solutions for Compute, Network, and Storage.

Experience in deployment and management of Cloud based systems to include SW development environments and DevSecOps pipelines.

Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.

Experience with infrastructure deployments adhering to NIST RMF and JSIG.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS security clearance with SCI eligibility is required prior to start date., + Active TS/SCI Clearance

Experience with HPE compute and storage solutions (3Par, Alletra, Simplivity, Proliant).

Experience with cloud providers, in particular AWS and Azure.

Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation product line, deployment, and maintenance.

Experience working within GitLab CI/CD to deploy DevSecOps pipelines utilizing Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi.

Experience with maintaining USAF Operational Facilities including all support functionalities like AV systems and Intercom systems.

Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
