Job description
This is a full stack software developer position with the Cboe FX team to build/maintain highly reliable (on all day) software applications and web interfaces which support a wide variety of operational needs of foreign exchange and fixed income trading platforms. The development team members are located in the NYC area and are working in a hybrid environment. Responsibilities include:
- Collection and aggregation of market activity
- Designing data storage schemas
- Flexible web interfaces to query/summarize/analyze market activity, and customize the configuration of each market participant
- Generation of reports that provide business intelligence insights
- Automated scanning, identification, and alerting of anomalous market activity
- Using best practices for unit testing
- Communicating with relevant stakeholders to capture/refine requirements and iterate towards a final product
- Documenting relevant details in the wiki
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or comparable field

2+ years of experience with:

Python

Full Stack web development

Django or similar Python web framework

PostgreSQL or similar relational database

Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
