Linux Engineer

Responsible for designing, building, and testing automated RHEL OS provisioning solution for Internal Cloud compute environments.

This role focuses on enabling reliable, scalable on-prem platforms through automation, integration, and continuous testing.

The engineer works hands-on with cloud computing platforms, MS Windows Server, and Linux systems to deliver automated workflows, validate platform integrations, and ensure system reliability using modern automation and testing practices.

Platform Integration Automation (RHEL)

5+ years of experience in platform, systems, or infrastructure engineering, with strong emphasis on automation and integration.

Hands-on experience designing and delivering automated RHEL OS provisioning for on-prem or internal cloud compute environments.

Strong Linux (RHEL) administration expertise, including OS installation, configuration, patching, services, networking, storage, security, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in shell scripting and Python, with experience building maintainable automation tools and workflows.

Experience with automation and configuration management platforms (e.g., Ansible or equivalent), including scalable, idempotent designs.

Working knowledge of Windows Server to support cross-platform workflows and integrations in mixed OS environments.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and CI/CD pipelines to support automated provisioning, validation, and deployment.

Hands-on experience integrating OS provisioning with internal cloud services such as virtualization platforms, networking, identity, monitoring, and configuration systems.

Strong focus on continuous testing and reliability, including automated validation, integration testing, and failure troubleshooting.

Ability to collaborate effectively with platform, operations, SRE, and security teams to deliver reliable and scalable automation solutions.
