Vulnerability Management Systems Analyst

• Lead the administration and configuration of enterprise vulnerability management platforms and policies.
• Analyze technical vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation tasks for mission-critical systems.
• Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones to align remediation with service level objectives.
• Perform system criticality validation reviews to accurately align risk exposure with severity levels.
• Provide technical training and guidance to distributed teams on vulnerability management practices.
• Coordinate the procurement and configuration of advanced security tools for enterprise environments.
• Generate regular risk reports and technical status summaries for executive and project stakeholders.

• 5 or more years of experience in architecting, deploying, and operating Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7 platforms.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating system administration within enterprise security environments.
• Experience in interpreting CVSS ratings and implementing complex risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience with developing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to track remediation efforts.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for security automation and tool utilization.
• Experience in applying NIST standards, PCI DSS, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework to security operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
