As a Senior Growth Software Engineer, Partner Integrations (Salesforce), you'll lead the technical direction for Forter's integrations with the entire Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware), Loyalty Cloud, Service Cloud, Order Management and more. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and Go-To-Market (GTM) stakeholders..
While you will lead our Salesforce initiatives, you will work within a modern engineering environment, gaining deep exposure to Node.js, GraphQL, and cloud-native architectures.
What you'll be doing:
- Revamp our current Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridge to reduce the required development work to integrate Forter and significantly improve our merchant experience.
- Lead initiatives to integrate Forter into Salesforce's core, including Service Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, Order Management and more.
- Collaborate with Product, Go-To-Market, and other engineering teams to understand merchant needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead building seamless extensions for the eCommerce platform Salesforce Commerce Cloud by enabling "one-click" onboarding experiences, guiding developers through required API calls, enabling data mapping from payment vendors like Stripe and Adyen, ingesting historical data in various formats, and validating integrations through Forter's Integration Center UI, SDKs, and automation that make integration intuitive and efficient., If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please email us at This information will be treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of determining an appropriate accommodation for the interview process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, designing and building production systems at scale
- Hands-on experience developing for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) is essential. Experience with Salesforce Core (Service Cloud, OMS) is a strong plus
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, with a strong understanding of web standards.
- Experience with (or a strong desire to master) modern backend technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; comfortable working across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with a passion for developer experience and technical excellence
It'd be really cool if you also have:
- Experience building SDKs or integration frameworks
- Deep understanding of additional eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Commercetools)
- Experience with payments infrastructure, especially providers like Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, or Worldpay
- A track record of reducing complexity through automation and tooling
- Experience improving developer experience through documentation, sandbox environments, or test harnesses

Salary Range: $185,000 - $219,000 annually + bonus + equity + benefits
