Job description

The Middleware Systems Engineer I is responsible for installing, maintaining, documenting, and supporting middleware systems and operations in order to provide maximum performance and availability to users. This position provides administrative level technical support for Middleware supported systems or networks by performing administrative/monitoring tasks. This may include installation, configuration, managing patches, upgrades, and optimization of Middleware systems. Documents and manages changes to new and existing systems. Contributes to the development and continuous review of appropriate practices, standards, and guidelines. Collaborates and works closely with other technical teams including Interoperability, Infrastructure, Clinical, ERP, and Revenue Cycle., * Responsible for day to day administrative maintenance, configuring, and supporting middleware systems in order to provide maximum performance and availability to users.

  • Provides technical support by performing administrative and monitoring tasks.
  • Supports administration of Microsoft 365 day to day operations as well as other middleware applications.
  • Manages patches, upgrades, configuration, and optimization of middleware supported systems.
  • Troubleshoots complex enterprise level issues and provides root cause.
  • Receives guidance and from and assists Middleware Engineers level II and III in solving complex day to day, as well as enterprise issues.
  • Deliver Middleware engineering support across all systems to ensure that the systems meet on exceed their SLAs.
  • Assists in providing timely project updates as required to meet department documentation requirements.
  • Contributes to the development and continuous review of appropriate practices, standards, and guidelines. Proposes and and helps implement system enhancements.
  • Assists with planning, testing, and installation of software and hardware upgrades.
  • Document and manage changes to new and existing systems following department protocols.

Requirements

Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Minimum Work Experience

  • 4 years IT related experience in computer systems Required
