Job description
Connsci is seeking a Sr. SharePoint Online/Power Platform Administrator to work in support of one of our federal clients. This individual will provide senior-level administration, solution development, and governance support for SharePoint Online and the Power Platform within a Microsoft 365 GCC High shared tenant environment., SharePoint Online Administration -Administer SharePoint Online as Site Collection Administrator -Manage site provisioning, hub alignment, permissions, and external sharing -Enforce governance and coordinate changes with tenant administrators Power Platform Administration -Manage Power Platform environments, configurations, and connectors -Monitor usage, solutions, and risk indicators for compliance Governance & Controls -Implement CoE-based governance practices -Oversee solution intake, maker enablement, and lifecycle tracking -Prevent shadow IT and solution sprawl Solution Design & Development -Design, build, test, and deploy solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and AI Builder -Ensure accessibility (Section 508), compliance, and documentation Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) -Manage source control, pipelines, and environment promotion using Azure DevOps -Enforce versioning, change control, and deployment standards Security & Compliance -Apply role-based access and least-privilege principles -Support audits, security reviews, and compliance efforts -Coordinate with cybersecurity and enterprise stakeholders Operations & Support -Provide incident response, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support -Deliver user training and maintain documentation (SOPs, knowledge base) -Continuously improve governance and support processes
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience. -At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint Online administration -At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform -At least 1 year of Azure DevOps experience -At least 1 year of experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit or equivalent governance tooling -Current Top Secret, DOE Q, or Public Trust High Risk Tier 4 clearance, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Solution Architect Expert; or SharePoint Administrator/Developer certification. -Experience in GCC or GCC High environments. -An understanding of SPO security and complex permissions structure. -Dataverse data modeling and security role design experience -Experience with JSON formatting, Power Fx, and modern SharePoint page design
