Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data models using Data Vault 2.0 methodologies. You will build Hubs, Links, and Satellites based on business keys and relationships, while translating complex business requirements into robust data warehouse solutions. The role involves analyzing source systems to identify keys, grain, and change patterns, and ensuring proper historical tracking, auditability, and lineage. You will define naming standards, hash keys, and metadata rules, while supporting both Raw Vault and Business Vault patterns including PIT tables, bridges, and effectivity models. You will collaborate closely with data engineering teams to align physical design and loading strategies, ensure performance optimization, and support downstream analytics and data marts.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and SQL, along with hands-on experience in Data Vault 2.0 modeling techniques. Familiarity with ETL processes, DB2, and modeling tools such as erwin Data Modeler or similar is preferred. Candidates should have a solid understanding of data quality, lineage, and governance concepts, along with the ability to design scalable and extensible data models.
