Job description
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and services in AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, reliable delivery
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and distributed system components
- Work across development and operations to ensure applications are production-ready, secure, and performant
- Support containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms (ECS/Kubernetes)
- Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned to customer requirements
- Participate in Agile development processes, including code reviews and technical design sessions
- Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Experience in software engineering with exposure to cloud-based environments
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, IAM)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment practices
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern application architectures
- Working knowledge of Linux environments and scripting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across the full development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple projects or working in consulting/professional services environments
- Background supporting federal or defense customers
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure pipeline integration
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, etc.)
