Job description

The Operational Support Manager is responsible for leading inventory control, warehouse operations, and administrative support functions. This role ensures efficient operations, accurate records, compliance with company policies, and effective support of operational teams through strong leadership, organization, and continuous improvement., * Manages and supervises inventory, warehouse, and administrative support teams.

  • Provides direction, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team effectiveness and accountability.
  • Coordinates staffing, workloads, training, and scheduling for assigned teams.
  • Promotes a positive, safety-focused, and customer-oriented work environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and inventory or asset-tracking systems. Working knowledge of procurement, vendor billing, inventory management, and reporting processes. Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and manage budgets or expenditures. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

COMMUNICATION: Communicates clearly and professionally with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Builds strong working relationships, provides clear direction, and contributes to a positive internal and external customer experience.

PROBLEM SOLVING & QUALITY: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Identifies issues, develops solutions, and ensures accuracy and quality of work. Exercises sound judgment and decision-making.

MANAGING FOR RESULTS: Takes ownership of responsibilities and sees projects through to completion. Ensures teams meet deadlines, performance standards, and operational objectives while adhering to company policies and SOPs.

LEADERSHIP & INITIATIVE: Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and professionalism. Acts in accordance with company vision, mission, and values. Willingly accepts additional responsibilities and drives continuous improvement.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work environment is primarily office-based and requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.
