Job description

This role will serve as a technical advisor, working with technology, data, and program teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant data architecture solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and cloud-based data solutions within enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Support legacy system modernization to cloud-based platforms
  • Define and manage data architecture and data flows across systems
  • Implement data governance frameworks and ensure data quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and data engineers
  • Support ETL processes and data integration efforts
  • Document technical and business requirements
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal data regulations
  • Work with sensitive and confidential data in a secure environment

Requirements

  • Data architecture, data modeling, and database design
  • Developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Enterprise data solutions (on-premise and cloud)
  • Legacy system modernization to cloud environments
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Oracle and cloud data platforms

Experience (4+ Years Required)

  • Data governance and data quality frameworks
  • ETL processes and data integration methodologies
  • Requirements gathering and documentation
  • Working in cross-functional technical teams
  • Handling sensitive data, preferably in government environments
