We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a cloud-based enterprise platform engineering team. This role focuses on building and enhancing large-scale, multi-tier applications deployed in AWS environments. The engineer will work closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to design, develop, and support secure and scalable enterprise platform services. The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on developer with deep knowledge of Java development, modern application frameworks, and cloud-based architectures., Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available applications and services using Java and modern frameworks. Build and maintain RESTful and service-based APIs that support enterprise platform capabilities. Ensure solutions are designed for high availability, durability, scalability, and cost efficiency within cloud environments. Contribute to system architecture, design discussions, and engineering best practices. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with enterprise development standards. Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve development practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. 10-12 years of experience in enterprise software development using Java. Strong expertise in Java core fundamentals and object-oriented programming. Experience developing applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks. Experience designing and developing SOAP and REST-based services. Strong experience with relational databases and SQL. Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, databases, and operating systems. Technical Environment Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL or similar relational databases AWS cloud platform and related services Preferred Qualifications Experience working in cloud-native environments using AWS. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containerization and tools such as Docker and Jenkins. Experience working in Linux-based environments.
