Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Snowflake data platform and hands-on experience designing scalable data ingestion and transformation solutions across AWS and Azure environments., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake

Build and optimize batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks
Develop data transformation logic using Snowflake SQL, stored procedures, and Python
Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and data quality
Maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and architecture

Requirements

12+ years of overall IT experience
6+ years in Data Engineering
4+ years of hands-on Snowflake development experience
Strong expertise in Snowflake (SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Experience with data ingestion (bulk load, micro-batching, streaming)
Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)
Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Event Hubs, Blob Storage, Azure Functions)
Strong Python programming skills
Solid understanding of data modelling and dimensional modelling
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance, * Snowflake Certifications (SnowPro Core / Advanced)
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with BI tools and data visualization platforms
Knowledge of data quality and monitoring frameworks
Experience with Git and collaborative development practices
