Job description
With some supervision from Vice President, ICT + Security Group or senior staff, provide design for telecommunications, LAN, CCTV, fire alarm, access control, and wireless LAN for new construction and/or renovation of industrial or commercial structures in conformance to client requirements and applicable codes.
Essential Job Functions:

Possess / demonstrate the engineering knowledge and understanding to design or analyze data, telecommunication, fire alarm and security systems for the design and installation, of data, telecommunications, fire alarm and security systems/networks using applicable BICSI, ANSI/TIA/EIA guidelines and NFPA -72.

Prepare working drawings for construction on Revit system. Provide Revit support to more senior staff.

Communicate and work with all other disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.

Conduct field measuring and checking at project site.

Maintain organized project file containing project calculations, correspondence, appropriate reference materials, etc.

With assistance, edit project specifications.

Review project submittals (shop drawings) for conformance with contract documents; specify action required for conformance.

Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or related field, electronic engineering, information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3+ years related experience in data, telecommunication, fire alarm and security engineering field.
Additional Skills:
- Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and MSWord, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM360 and ACC
