Job description
Our client seeks a ServiceNow Test Lead to drive end-to-end testing for a new HR case management implementation. The role will manage functional, regression, and defect validation cycles, provide executive-ready reporting, and coordinate with HR, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Delivery. The Test Lead will leverage JIRA, Smartsheet, and AI tools to ensure quality, readiness, and visibility through go-live, stabilization, and hypercare., * Lead functional testing using requirements and user stories from JIRA, with approximately 60% functional testing in the initial phase.
- Oversee testing for a build nearing 100% completion for the initial design.
- Plan, execute, and manage functional testing, defect validation, and regression testing planned for July for the annual production release.
- Drive testing completion through issue resolution, go-live, and hypercare support.
- Coordinate collection of feedback from internal users and friends-and-family testing for early validation and enhancements.
- Manage intake of feedback and test findings via Smartsheets.
- Track and analyze variance between defects and new or changed requirements.
- Lead defect and enhancement triage, prioritization, and tracking against the overall plan.
- Serve as primary test lead, ensuring accountability, timelines, and quality standards.
- Provide regular status reporting and executive-level visibility, including build and test status, burn charts, and risk and issue tracking.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for SVP-level and above stakeholders.
- Leverage AI tools for analysis, dashboarding, and executive-ready summaries, presentations, and content creation.
- Partner with HR, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Delivery across implementation, handoff, stabilization, and hypercare.
- Apply ServiceNow implementation experience in HR or operational domains to guide best practices and decisions.
Requirements

- Strong ServiceNow experience, ideally with HR Service Delivery and Employee Relations modules.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet for tracking, reporting, and feedback management.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for data analysis, dashboard creation, and executive-level summaries and presentations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and provide clarity with minimal direction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments.
- Prior experience leading or heavily supporting a ServiceNow HR or Operations case management implementation end-to-end (preferred).
- Experience supporting hypercare and post-go-live stabilization phases (preferred).
- Comfort working directly with senior leadership and executive stakeholders (preferred).
