Job description

The Slate CRM Developer will play a key role in the implementation, integration, and ongoing support of the Slate CRM platform. This position will support multiple functional areas across the university, including Enrollment Management, Student Success, and Advancement. The Slate CRM Developer will collaborate closely with functional stakeholders and IT teams to ensure Slate is configured, integrated, and maintained in alignment with institutional goals and business processes, including seamless integration with the university's ERP system., + Serve as a technical support for the implementation of new Slate CRM modules supporting enrollment, student success, and advancement.

  • Configure and maintain Slate forms, workflows, populations, portals, queries, reports, and dashboards.
  • Partner with functional departments to translate business requirements into technical solutions within Slate.
  • Design, implement, and test automated communication workflows and operational processes.
  • Support data migration, testing , and validation activities during implementation phases.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the Information Technology team, implement, and maintain integrations between Slate and the university ERP and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide day-to-day administration and technical support for Slate CRM.
  • Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Respond to support requests, investigate system issues, and implement solutions or enhancements.
  • Coordinate with Slate support and third-party vendors as needed.
  • Participate in system governance discussions related to data stewardship, security, and compliance.
  • Stay current on Slate releases, features, and best practices, recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Work closely with Enrollment, Student Success, Advancement, and IT colleagues to ensure effective system use.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across CRM-related processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience administering and supporting Slate CRM, including serving as a Slate Captain or primary system owner.
  • Experience with SQL, system integrations, data feeds, APIs, or middleware solutions.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures, and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills., + Experience integrating Slate with an ERP system.
  • Demonstrated experience with enrollment, student success, or advancement business processes within a higher education environment.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Liquid Markup, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and Linux shell scripting.
  • Prior involvement in large-scale system implementations or CRM rollouts.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS platforms.

  • Tuition Benefits: o Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee, spouse, and dependent children under age 26. o University pays 100% tuition only. o Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2,000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution.
