Senior Design Engineer

(Work in Southfield, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)---Design, develop and release automotive components and assemblies across interior, exterior, chassis and underbody systems; create parametric 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings using advanced CAD software, with strict adherence to industry standards, design guidelines and regulatory requirements; coordinate product lifecycle data; review and interpret technical documents; and use CATIA V5 and Pro/ENGINEER.

Requires Bachelor's or its foreign educational equivalent plus 24 months experience in the job offered or 24 months experience in an alternate occupation. Will accept 3 years of college education plus 3 years experience in the job offered or 3 years experience in an alternate occupation in lieu of the required educaiton and experience. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. The required experience must include 24 months using CATIA V5 and Pro/ENGINEER. Travel/relocation to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S. required.
