Job description

We're seeking a versatile Designer to join our team at Hudu to own the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our various digital assets. You will collaborate on the design of our products, breaking down complex ideas, and turning them into simple, elegant, user-centric solutions. We want you to create intuitive, delightful, and seamless experiences for our customers. You will help conduct user research and conduct usability testing to ensure all designs meet user and client requirements, optimize services and products for a range of clients, develop mockups for the design and development teams, and assist sales and marketing with product images for GTM and product campaigns.

  • Design System Management: Utilize and maintain our existing component library to build UI elements (navigation, search, widgets). Identify gaps in the library and design new components as needed to ensure scalability.
  • Iterative Prototyping: Rapidly translate product ideas into high-fidelity designs. For every project, provide multiple creative solutions with a clear "Pros vs. Cons" breakdown to facilitate collaborative team decision-making.
  • User Research Execution: Conduct end-to-end user research and testing activities to analyze behavior and validate design decisions (rather than just providing guidance on them).
  • Development Handoff: Prepare clean, well-documented design files to ensure a seamless handoff to the Dev team.
