Job description
Support the ALC, BOD Web Portal and applications to include:
- Development, maintenance, enhancement and routing support, testing, documentation, training, web server maintenance, data integration support and documentation of ALC business systems, including ALC web and portal sites.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications based on the standards and guidelines set-forth by Division and USCG policy.
- Develop workflows for business processes, test workflows under development and create test scenarios for users to follow.
- Provide classroom training as well as one (1) to one (1) training based on customer needs.
- Document progress and maintain a project note file while moving requests through workflow stages to completion.
- Create and maintain ALC electronic routing and document policies, processes, procedures, and instructions in a format designated by ALC.
- Work with system application users and POC when developing and maintaining applications, and in overseeing testing of applications.
- Gathering testing results, review, and discuss results with application POC(s), and make necessary fixes as requested/required.
- Meet with customers to discuss and record information regarding requests, enhancements, system problems, and other job-related information.
Requirements
- US Citizenship and ability to pass a government background investigation is required .
- Associate's degree in technical or related field, or at a minimum an Information Technology (IT) Software Development Certification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience developing and managing customer requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Development, and Implementation of moderate to complex workflow systems and excellent SharePoint development skills; Power Platform is desired .
- Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML, JQuery, Web Services, and SharePoint Designer.
- Have experience dealing with end users and all levels of personnel for requirements gathering of pertinent information, and to determine the needs of the users and organization when analyzing and developing applications and systems.
