Job description

The Presales Solution Consultant is a client-facing technical role that partners closely with Account Executives across the full sales lifecycle. This position brings deep expertise in mainframe application modernization, including COBOL-to-Java transformation, database modernization, and target architecture design.

Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, the Presales Solution Consultant ensures proposed solutions are technically robust, commercially viable, and aligned with each organization's modernization strategy and business goals.

Requirements

Required technical and professional expertise

8+ years of relevant experience in a technical, client-facing or presales role
Proven experience supporting the sales lifecycle in a presales or solutioning capacity
Strong familiarity with IBM mainframe and distributed technologies
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational database design
Core Mainframe Expertise: Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: COBOL, DB2, IMS (DB/DC), IDMS, Natural / Adabas, VSAM, CICS, Batch processing (JCL)

Preferred technical and professional experience

Cloud & Platforms:
