Job description
We are seeking a high-caliber Enterprise Architect to join a premier global financial institution in Charlotte. In this pivotal role, you will shape the technological landscape by designing strategic architectures that drive digital transformation across the banking domain. You will act as the bridge between senior leadership and technical teams, ensuring that IT infrastructure, applications, and data platforms are agile, secure, and perfectly aligned with long-term business objectives., * Architectural Blueprinting: Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural blueprints encompassing IT infrastructure, cloud-native applications, and data platforms.
- Workflow & Orchestration: Lead the design of complex workflow engineering and business process orchestration, specifically leveraging Pega and ServiceNow environments.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Partner with senior leadership to define technology strategies that support innovation and agility in the global banking sector.
- Evaluation & Governance: Conduct thorough assessments of emerging technologies (Databricks, Microservices, AI) to ensure they meet strict banking architectural standards and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for development teams, providing mentorship and enforcing architectural best practices across the SDLC.
- Risk & Resilience: Identify architectural dependencies and implement robust mitigation strategies to ensure zero disruption to mission-critical banking operations., * Strictly W2 Only: This is a direct W2 contract/full-time engagement. We cannot facilitate C2C, 1099, or any third-party referrals.
- Hybrid Work: Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC, and work on-site 2-3 days per week.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of proven success as an Enterprise Architect within a large-scale enterprise environment (Global Banking or Financial Services highly preferred).
- Technical Core: Extensive working experience in Workflow Engineering and Business Process Orchestration.
- Pega experience is strongly preferred.
- ServiceNow knowledge is a significant plus.
- Cloud & Data: Strong mastery of Azure cloud services, microservices architecture, API management, and Databricks.
- Architectural Frameworks: In-depth knowledge of EA frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) and experience with EA tools such as LeanIX or Ardoq.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical "future state" concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
