Job description

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative digital solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in creating user-centric applications while promoting best practices in software engineering. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable and secure digital portal solutions across both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product owners and architects to align technical execution with business goals, ensuring high-impact feature delivery.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards, including code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment practices.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure alignment on project priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Champion modern development practices, including Agile methodologies and automated testing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with proven expertise in Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, Typescript, SQL, and Java.
  • Strong understanding of web security and cloud deployment practices, particularly with AWS.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership experience in Agile environments, with a focus on mentoring and coaching developers.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with unit testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Interest in building accessible and user-friendly digital products.
  • Ability to provide creative solutions that align with project timelines and budgets.
