Job description

In this vital role you be responsible foridentifyingand delivering practical automation solutions across core systems including Salesforce, Conga CLM and CPQ, Model N, and Anaplan. Solutions may include workflow automation, system configuration, integrations, and, whereappropriate, Generative AI.

The primaryobjectiveis to streamline contracting and pricing workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency. This role works closely with Contracting Operations, Pricing, and Product teams to deliver targeted solutions that addressreal businessneeds whileleveragingenterprise platforms and standards.

This role requires hands-on involvement in solution design, prototyping, and implementation.

  • Lead delivery of automation solutions across Contracting Operations workflows with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and measurable business impact.
  • Identifyautomation opportunities and partner with stakeholders todeterminetheappropriate solutionapproach, balancing AI and non-AI methods based on value, complexity, and maintainability.
  • Design and deliver solutions supporting contract lifecycle processes including creation, approvals, amendments, and renewals.
  • Support pricing and revenue workflows across CPQ and Model N, including validation, execution, and data alignment.
  • Enable process improvements in forecasting and planning workflows within Anaplan.
  • Implement data synchronization and orchestration across Salesforce, Conga, Model N, MuleSoft, Databricks and Anaplan.
  • Introduce AI-assisted capabilities where they provide clear business value, such as contract summarization, clause insights, and natural language interaction with contract and pricing data.
  • Develop lightweight assistants or copilots embedded within existing platforms to improve user productivity.
  • Lead rapid prototyping and iterative delivery of solutions with a focus on practical implementation.
  • Establish reusable patterns and best practices for automation design, integrations, and responsible use of AI.
  • Collaborate with enterprise AI and architecture teams toleverageshared tools and services whilemaintainingfocus on domain-specific delivery.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in contracting and pricing operations, including:
  • Reduction in contract cycle time and manual processing effort
  • Improved data accuracy and reduced operational defects

Technology Focus Areas:

  • Workflow automation and orchestration tools (for example Salesforce Flow, process automation frameworks)

  • Enterprise SaaS platforms including Salesforce, Conga CLM and CPQ, Model N, MuleSoft, Databricks and Anaplan

  • System integration patterns including APIs, event-based architectures, and data synchronization

  • Rules-based automation and system configuration for business process optimization

  • Data structures supporting contract lifecycle, pricing, and revenue management processes

  • Generative AI and Large Language Models applied to business workflows where appropriate

  • Retrieval Augmented Generation using enterprise data sources such as contracts and pricing data

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldOR
  • Masters degree and 8 years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldOR
  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldAND
  • 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams delivering software, automation, or system solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing automation and system integration solutions across enterprise platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience applying AI-enabled solutions, including Generative AI, within business workflows whereappropriate.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering workflow automation, system configuration, and integrations across SaaS platforms such as Salesforce or similar ecosystems.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with operational needs.
  • Strong understanding of when to apply AI-driven approaches versus deterministic automation to solve business problems effectively., * Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Conga CLM or CPQ, Model N, or Anaplan in a technical, product, or architecture role.
  • Experience delivering workflow automation, system integrations, and process improvements across enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Experience implementing rules-based automation, workflow orchestration, and API integrations.
  • Experience applying Generative AI capabilities within business applications where there is clear value.
  • Ability to evaluate when AI isappropriate versuswhen deterministic automation is more effective.
  • Experience building or enabling assistants or productivity tools within enterprise platforms is a plus.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
