Job description
The Solution Architect Client Delivery is a senior, client-facing role responsible for leading clients through the technical integration and configuration of Swiss Re's SaaS solutions and services. You will combine integration design, technical leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful client implementations at scale.
The role requires you to:
- Act as the technical lead and primary point of contact for client integrations, upgrades, and support
- Build and maintain deep expertise in Swiss Re's suite of Underwriting and Claims solutions (MagnumXP and PromiseXP)
- Lead client-facing technical discussions and drive integration and configuration decisions based on client requirements
- Design end-to-end integrations, including data flows, authentication models, and system interactions
- Produce high-quality technical blueprints and integration documentation
- Design and troubleshoot API-based integrations across diverse client technology stacks, including deep dives into complex, client-specific scenarios
- Lead and support migrations and upgrades across client environments
- Collaborate with distributed internal teams, clients, and vendors to bring in relevant expertise as needed
- Advise on secure integration practices, data protection, operations, governance, and compliance
- Provide structured client feedback to product teams to drive actionable improvements
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and integration patterns
- Create and maintain clear, accurate client-facing guides and internal support documentation
- Occasional client travel may be required
About the Team
The Client Delivery team is responsible for the successful implementation of Swiss Re's underwriting and claims platforms (MagnumXP and PromiseXP) across global clients. We operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and client environments, designing scalable integration patterns and ensuring reliable production delivery. You will work in a highly collaborative, international setup with product, security, and operations teams, contributing directly to client success and platform evolution.

Proven ability to lead technical discussions and influence client decisions

Deep understanding of API-driven architectures and SaaS integration patterns

Hands-on problem solver comfortable debugging complex, distributed systems

Experience working in client-facing or consulting-style environments

Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Significant experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or integration delivery roles

Proven hands-on background in software engineering (backend/integration focus)

Ability to quickly build domain expertise in complex business and technical environments

Strong expertise in APIs (REST), OpenAPI/Swagger, and integration tooling

Experience designing and delivering integrations in cloud environments (Azure preferred)

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Experience producing client-facing technical documentation and integration guides
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience delivering enterprise SaaS implementations or integration programs
- Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js, Python)
- Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services domains
- Knowledge of regulatory and data privacy frameworks
- Cloud certifications (Azure or equivalent)
- Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps environments)
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
